Breakfast was awesome. We were visiting Marion from Virginia looking at real estate. Kate and Ryan were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and restaurants. We had a great stay! We'll be coming back whenever we come to the South Coast.
We recently stayed at the Silvershell Inn and had a very enjoyable stay. We were in Marion for a wedding and spent 2 nights at the Inn. The Inn Keeper Kate and her husband were so thoughtful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious with eggs, bacon, and even homemade fruit smoothies! Kate was very helpful and shared wonderful insight about the town and activities. She even looked after us after the wedding was over and made sure we safely made it home. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone travelling out to this area. We really loved our time there and hope to return again for a visit soon.
Comfortable historical house that is in Marion and close to Tabor. Food is wonderful too!
This inn is so wonderful & fun! Easily accessible off the Interstate, it's easy to find, even in the dark(!). The innkeeper gives a cozy welcome and a comfortable atmosphere within an historic Federal style colonial farmhouse. Adding to its country charm, the inn is also a working gentleman's farm. The inn is located just up the street from Tabor Academy and Sippican Harbor. You can't go wrong with the Silvershell Inn. I highly recommend it without reservation.
I had getaway bachelorette weekend this past August at the silvershell inn. It was perfect! They did a fantastic job taking care of the things we needed! Even didn't mind some of our shananagins that went on for the event!!
