Ok the coffee is good and the food is good but the place feels very disorganized. It wasn't that busy but it took a bit to get waited on. Someone was cleaning the counter space for customers yet did not empty the trash that was full. No trash cans outside. I have been here a few times now due to another coffee place being closed. Each time I wonder why I didn't do something else.
Uncle Jon's makes great coffee! The people have a smile even really early in the morning. I wish the baked treats weren't so good! I've met lots of nice folks at Jon's.

I try to give every business multiple chances before leaving a negative review. I moved to Marion a year and a half ago and I'm so disappointed in Uncle Jon's. This morning they were very busy, as usual, and the young baristas allowed two teenagers to cut me in line. This has happened several times before. They don't pay attention to the line order whatsoever. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, a muffin, and two small iced coffees... close to $13, which I feel even for Marion is insanely expensive. The two iced coffees, the regular had 3 cubes of ice that were melted before I left and the decaf was FULL of coffee grinds. The bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich took 15 minutes after I ordered it... Excessive. It was chaotic, expensive, and disorganized. The sandwich was good but to wait 15+ minutes, I could have gone home and made my own. I wish they'd set up a better line system and consider their pricing, not that I mind paying if it is a good experience. Also, iced coffee should have enough ice to make it past 15 minutes... I won't be going back for awhile.
